I decided that my wix website (that I didn't code myself) is good for my art shop and whatnot, but I experimented a little bit with web design. This is my experimental website that I made that has my artwork and stuff on it as well, but it's more of a blog of the totality of my experiences, and I'm going to add a page for all of my hobbies, relationships, thoughts and experiences etc.
As somebody whose passionate about creative writing, dream documentation, gaming, food, dabbling in weed-induced Sonic-The-Hedgehog States, diving deep into psychedelic soundscapes, the delicious taste of coffee, tea, and (mostly diet cuz it's healthier) soda, the beauty of the stars, I'd love to express my love for my sensory experiences and thoughts.
The goal is for it to be a maximalist yet functional website where I can use web design as an interactive and psychedelic artform without worrying too much about professionalism in this particular project. I have strong feelings about the state of web design today, and I feel like as somebody who considers themselves an absurdist in terms of philosophy, as well as an existential experimentalist and part-time futurist, that today webdesign is too cookie-cutter in its design. Web design today is quite drab and seems to be going towards the wrong way and from what I can see is the opposite of techno positivism.
As this website is more functional and people will most likely find it to be easier to use both on mobile and desktop, my goal is to make my experimental website a lot odder than it already is, while still containing some level of functionality for those who consider themselves interested in what's going on within my brain's neuron interstices.
